Haqq Dawah Media Presents:Glad Tidings S.2.E.6 We Love Jesus Too Show Notes

From our show on blogtalkradio.com/hdmedia

AsSalaam Alkuim,

This is your Bro Kareem from the HDG, and this is Haqq Dawah Media presents Glad Tidings: Glad Tidings S.2.E.6 We love Jesus Too (Isa) AS.

In today's episode we will cover the great Prophet Isa AS. We will cover different aspects of his birth, his life, the lies attributed to him, and his return. Let’s begin:

Jesus to Muslims is called in Islam Isa bin Maryam AS( son of Mary).Isa was sent for the children of Isreal. Isa is a prophet of Islam and Muslims do not the believe that he is or was a son of Allah. This is because Allah says in his book the Quran that he begots none nor is he begoton. This mean he has no family, none.

The birth of Isa AS is covered in the Quran in surah Maryum. The surah starts off talking about the birth of Mayrum, and her growing up in the temple under the care of Prophet Zackariah. While in the temple Maryum was visited by the Angel with glad tidings of the birth of  Isa.

Isa was born to Maryum who was  virgin hence the name Isa bin Maryum. It is quoted in the Quran as Isa doing mircales at birth.
"He shall speak to people while still in the cradle, and in manhood, and he shall be from the righteous." (Quran 3:46)

"I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;
And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;
(He) hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable;
So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)!"
— Quran, sura 19 Maryam, ayat 30-33

After reaching maturity Isa went on to receive revelation. The revelation that Isa received was called the Injel. The Injel declares the truth of the previous revelations: al Tawrat  (the Torah) and  al Zabur(the Psalams). The Quran speaks favorably of al-Injīl, which it describes as a scripture that fills the hearts of its followers with meekness and piety. The Quran says that the original biblical message has been distorted or corrupted over time.

Just as Prophet Muhammad had Suhabbas (Companions) Isa had is own known as the Disciples. Unlike the bible the Disciples are not named by name in the Quran.
They are spoken about a few times in the Quran:
When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: "Who will be My helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples: "We are Allah's helpers: We believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims.
Our Lord! we believe in what Thou hast revealed, and we follow the Messenger; then write us down among those who bear witness."
— Quran Surah Al-Imran 52-53
Also in Quran Surah Al-Ma'ida 112-115

Islamic texts categorically deny the idea of crucifixion or death attributed to Jesus by the New Testament. The Quran states that people (i.e., the Jews and Romans) sought to kill Jesus, but they did not crucify nor kill him, although "this was made to appear to them". Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified but instead, he was raised up by Allah unto the heavens. This "raising" is often understood to mean through bodily ascension.
And they said we have killed the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah. They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, though it was made to appear like that to them; those that disagreed about him are full of doubt, with no knowledge to follow, only supposition: they certainly did not kill him. On the contrary, Allah raised him unto himself. Allah is almighty and wise.
Quran surah 4 ( Al Nisaا) ayah 157-158
The second coming of Isa.
Isa will return during the time of a great problem for the Muslims. It will be a battle between the Muslims lead by Imam Mahdi( the reformer of Islam) and the Dijall (anti christ) and his followers.
Isa will descend at the time of prayer and pray behind Imam Mahdi. Then he will join the Muslims in jihad against the Dijall and eventually end up slaying him.
After the death of al-Mahdi, Jesus will assume leadership. This is a time associated in Islamic narrative with universal peace and justice. Islamic texts also allude to the appearance of  Gog and Magog), ancient tribes which will disperse and cause disturbance on earth. Alla, in response to Jesus' prayers, will kill them by sending a type of worm in the napes of their necks. Jesus' rule is said to be around forty years, after which he will die. Muslims will then perform the  funeral prayer for him and then bury him in the city of  Medina in a grave left vacant beside Prophet Muhammad,Abu Baker ,a,d Umar (two of the Prophets closest Companions and the first and second caliphs.

Haqq Dawah Medai Presents: Glad Tidings S.2E.3. Show Notes

AsSalaam Alkuim,

Salah: is one of the “five pillars” of the faith of Islam and an obligatory religious duty for every Muslim. It is a physical, mental and spiritual act of worship that is observed five times every day at prescribed times. In this ritual, the worshiper starts standing, bows, prostrates, and concludes while sitting on the ground. During each posture, the worshiper recites or reads certain verses, phrases and prayers. The word salat is commonly translated to prayer but this definition might be confusing. Muslims use the words "Dua" or "Supplication" when referring to the common definition of prayers which is "reverent petitions made to Allah."

The revaluation of Salah:

The times for salah:

Adhan:
 meaning "to listen, to hear, be informed about".
Adhan is called out by a muezzin from the mosque five times a day, traditionally from the minaret, summoning Muslims for mandatory salah. A second call, known as iqama , (set up) then summons Muslims to line up for the beginning of the prayers. The main purpose behind the multiple loud pronouncements of adhan in every mosque is to make available to everyone an easily intelligible summary of Islamic belief. It is intended to bring to the mind of every believer and non-believer the substance of Islamic beliefs, or its spiritual ideology. In modern times,loudspeakers have been installed on minarets for this purpose.
The adhan recites theTakbr (Allah is great)[1] followed by the Shahada (There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah).[2] This statement of faith, called the Kalimah.

Creations of Allah Part 1 (Angels)

Angels:

‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘The angels are created from light, just as the jinn are created from smokeless fire and mankind is created from what you have been told about.’" [Muslim].

"I have only created jinn and men to worship Me.” 51:56

Today’s episode will cover the creation of three of Allah’s creations (that we know of). The creation of the Angels, Jinn, and Mankind. I will do my best to give you at least a general, and clear understanding of these three creations.

Our first of the creation that we will cover will be the angels:

The belief in the angels is one of the Six Pillars of Islam ( reference Episode 7). You cannot be a Muslim if you don’t believe in the six articles of Faith.

The angels are from the world of the unseen. There is no text that tells humans when the angels were first created. Even though we do not have an exact time of when the angels were
created, the angels were created before man.
 The Quran 2:30 proves this:
 “And when your Lord said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to establish upon earth one who shall inherit it."

Angels do not have free will to obey or disobey. Angels are totally submissive to Allah, and were created to carry out the will of Allah, as He wills.

 In Quran 18: 50, Allah says that Shaitan is from the creation called Jinn. He refused to obey Allah’s instruction to prostrate to Adam. From this, we know that he was given a free will to obey or to disobey. Angels have several jobs: Some angels delivered revelation, some angels were sent to warn mankind, the Angel of death is sent to take the souls, and there are angels that carry the throne of Allah.

Angels differ in status and jobs, they do not eat or drink, and can take human form. (ref the story of
 Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Prophet Lut (AS)). The angels do not get tired of worshiping Allah. Some protect Paradise, some stay with humans writing their deeds. Some angels question you when you die; some angels visit you while you are in your mother's womb.

 A list of some angels and their duties and names can be found on our blog.

 For in the presence of your Lord are those who celebrate His praises by night and by day. And they never become tired (nor feel themselves above it)." [41:38]

 The number of angels are unknown to us, but we have to believe from hadith of our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) that there are more than we could ever imagine.

 Angels are made of light. Angels are very large, have wings, very beautiful but can appear as very ugly to sinners, and are neither male or female.
