Haqq Dawah Media Presents: Glad Tidings Season 3 Ep. 10 Avoid Nullifying Your Islam (Show Notes)

AsSalaam Alkuim,

How to avoid the 10 Nullifying your Islam.

The best way to avoid a situation or downfall is to know what it is, and what are the consequences of the decision. Islam is a beautiful way of life that Allah has chosen us to live, but there are actions that we can do that could take us out of fold of Islam. Today’s episode I pray that I will be able to cover 10 ways to avoid nullifying your Islam, so you can be aware, and avoid them all.

Allah has made it clear that for mankind to be successful he or she must follow Islam. He has done this with his book The Quran and the Sunna of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). By declaring La Illha Illlaha ( there is no deity worthy of worship besides Allah), we identify that there is none who should be worshipped or put before Allah. The Creator not the creation.

Furthermore we also state that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is that last messenger of Allah and is trusted to deliver the message of Islam to mankind. Prophet Muhammad isto followed and obey, it is ordained in The Quran by Allah. 59:7.

The 10 Nullifyiers of Islam and how to spot them:

  1. Shirk in the worship of Allah, associating anything or anyone in the worship of Allah.

“Verily Allaah forgives not setting up rivals in worship with Him, but He forgives whom He pleases other sins than that.” (Qur’an 4: 116)

How to avoid the 10 Nullifying your Islam.
    2. Setting up intermediaries between a person and Allah is unbelief. Calling on someone or            something to to intercede on your behalf is not permissible in Islam.

The Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhe wa sallam) was asked: ‘Which sin is the Gravest? He said: “That you set up rivals unto Allaah (despite the fact) that He has created you.”

How to avoid the 10 Nullifying your Islam.
    3. To believe those who commit shirk are not unbelievers or doubting their unbelief .

“And if any amongst you who take them (wholeheartedly) as friends, then surely he is one of them.”(Qur’an 5: 51)

    4. The belief that guidance by someone other than Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is better or the   ruling by others than the rule of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is better, this is unbelief.  The rule of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the rule of Allah.

“But no, by your Lord, they can have no true Faith (al-waajib: which is dutiful upon them), until they make you judge in all disputes between them, and find in their souls no resistance against your decisions, but accept (them) fully with submission.”(Qur’an 4: 65)

    5. Hating any command or anything The Prophet’s (PBUH) message despite practicing it is   unbelief.

“That is because they hate that which Allaah has sent down, so He has made their deeds fruitless.” (Qur’an 47: 9)

       6. Mocking any part of Islam or any of Allah’s names,  or any of His names or Attributes is a non believers.

“Was it at Allaah, and His signs, and His Messenger that you were mocking? Make no excuse, you have disbelieved (became Kufar) after you had believed.”(Qur’an 9: 65-66)

    7. Involvement in magic. Considering it permissible to practice that art of black magic. This sways man from good things or practices he may do. Magic reduces influence man to what is disliked and is bad for him. Magic sows discord between man and his wife.

“Solomon did not disbelieve but the devils disbelieved, teaching men magic and such things that came down at Babylon to the two angels (put coma after the word angels) Harut and Marut, but neither of these two (angels) taught anyone (such things) till they had said: We are only for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning the magic from us).”(Qur’an 2: 102)

    8. Standing by the mushrikeen (  a person who associates partners with Allah). Supporting and helping them against the Muslims.

“And he amongst you who take them as friends (WHOLEHEARTEDLY), then surely he is one of them.” (Qur’an 5: 51)

   9. Believing that some special people do not have to follow Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).  Be doing this you negate the second part of the Shahada.

“And whoever desires a religion other than Islaam, it will never be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.” (Qur’an 3: 85)
10. Completely turning away from the relgion of Allah. Not trying to learn  or live it.

“And who does wrong than the one to whom are recited the Aayat (proofs, evidences, verses, revelations, etc.) of his Lord, then he turns aside therefrom? Verily, We shall exact retribution from the Mujrimin (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners etc.)”(Qur’an 32: 22)

Haqq Dawah Media Presents: Glad Tidings Season 3 Episode 9 Tawbah

AsSalaam Alkuim,

The word tawba is a Quranic Arabic word translated as “ a retreat” or “a return”. In the Quran and Hadith both tawba is referred to as an act of leaving what Allah has prohibited and a return to what Allah has commanded.
A sincere repentance.

The Quran and Hadith both repeatedly mention the act of atoning for one’s misdeeds. Denoting the act of repentance of one’s misdeeds, atoning for one's misdeeds, and having a strong determination to forsake these misdeeds.
Tawba is regarded as a major way to rectifying one’s life.

Tawba is mentioned several times in the Quran:
Surah 66:08, 24:31, 2:222, 4:17-18, 25:60-71 and Surah 9 is named Tawbah.

Examples of Tawba in The Hadith:
Allah's apostle said, "Every son of Adam sins, the best of the sinners are those who repent."
—  Sunan al Tirmidhi Hadith no. 2499

Allah's apostle said,"By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace (you by) those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them."
—  Sahih Muslim 37:6621

Allah's Apostle said, "Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than anyone of you is pleased with finding his camel which he had lost in the desert."
— Sahih al Bukhari 8:75:321
Tawba should only be made to your Creator Allah. Being a Muslim we understand that no man, woman, child or creation can be prayed to for forgiveness. Repenting to any other besides Allah is forbidden and is referred to as Shirk.
Conditions for Tawba:
  1. To regret one’s past evil deeds;
  2. To carry out Divine duties (fard, wajib etc.) that were missed;
  3. To return the rights/properties of others that were usurped unjustly;
  4. To ask forgiveness of a person who has been wronged by him, physically or verbally;
  5. To make a firm resolve of avoiding the sin in future; and
  6. To employ oneself in Allah’s obedience, as he previously employed himself in Allah’s disobedience.

The importance of Suhoor

A suhoor(pre-dawn meal) is more important than Iftaar (breaking of the fast)because it helps the fasting person persevere through the fast.
Suhoor is so called because it happens at the time of sahr, which is the end of the night.
‘Amr Ibn al-Aas reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “The distinguishing feature between our fast and the fast of the People of the Book is in the eating at the time just before dawn.” [Muslim]
‘Abdullah Ibn Haarith said that one of the Sahabah (companion) said: ‘I entered the house of the Messenger (SAW) whilst he was taking the Suhoor (pre-dawn meal), and he (SAW) said: “Indeed it (the Suhoor) is blessing that Allah has given to you so do not leave it out.” [An-Nasaaee and Ahmad]
Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree said that the Messenger (SAW) said: “Eating the Suhoor is blessed. Do not neglect it even if you take a gulp of water, because Allah and His angels invoke blessings upon those who partake in the pre-dawn meal.” [Ahmad].
It was narrated that Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Eat suhoor, for in suhoor there is blessing.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1923; Muslim, 1095.
It was narrated from Jaabir that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever wants to fast, let him eat something for suhoor.” Narrated by Ahmad, 14533; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 2309.
What to eat during suhoor
It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The best suhoor for the believer is dates.” Narrated by Abu Dawood, 2345); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood.
It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Suhoor is a blessed meal, so do not omit it, even if one of you only takes a sip of water, for Allaah and His angels send blessings on those who eat suhoor.” Narrated by Ahmad, 11003; classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 3683.
The best time for suhoor
It was narrated that Zayd ibn Thaabit (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “We ate suhoor with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) then he went to pray.” I [the narrator] asked, “How long was there between the adhaan and suhoor?” He said, “As long as it takes to recite fifty verses.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1921; Muslim, 1097.

Haqq Dawah Media Presents: Glad Tidings Why we should not use the word God to describe the Creature

AsSalaamAlkuim,

  • Stop praying to God. Start praying to your Creator instead!
There are thousands of false gods but only one Creator!
So pray to the One Who created you!
The Creator Who created the Universe is the God of everything He created! No other god
exists. All others are false gods! When you say: “Oh My Creator,” you are speaking to the
only God! There is no God but Him! If it takes you 13 years or more to understand this
simple concept, it would be time well spent.
For now, just forget about practicing any religion. Concentrate on praying to your Creator.
    Don’t say: “Oh My God”
Instead you must say: Oh My Creator!”
Only the Creator is God! Satan has fooled mankind into praying to thousands of false gods,
since the time of Adam. Each person is claiming he or she is praying to the real God, but
that cannot be true. The only real God is the One who created you; no one else!
Many people agree that there is only One God but they disagree on what name to call Him.
The safer and better thing to do is pray: “Oh My Creator!” This way, everyone will be
praying to the real God every time they call on him. Here are some tips to stay safe:
    1. When you say: “Oh My Creator,” you are praying directly to the only real God! You are the
human being He created and He is your Creator, Who created you. There is no barrier
    between you and your Creator!
    2. Ask your Creator to forgive you for all your sins. Do not ask anyone else! No one can
forgive your sins, no matter what fantastic story you hear! Cry in secret to your Creator! He
will forgive you all your sins, every last one! Don’t ever tell anyone about your sins. You
would only be humiliating yourself. When your Creator prevented people knowing about
your sins, it is because He is protecting you from public shame and dishonor!
    3. Ask your Creator to guide you. It’s very confusing with all those religions out there. Don’t
be in a rush to find a religion to practice. All of them are claiming to be the true religion.
That cannot be true. Trust only your Creator to guide you! Don’t trust us either! Depend only
on your Creator to guide you to the right religion when the time comes. In the meantime,
live a clean, wholesome way of life and wait for your Creator’s decision. Do as much good
deeds as you can. Stay away from all bad deeds. Your Creator never abandoned you! Why
  • do you think you are reading this right now. This is a part of the package of guidance your
Creator prepared especially for you. He will keep on offering it to you throughout the course
of your life. If you die without accepting it, you will not be able to claim that you didn’t know.
On the Day of Judgment comes. We will be there to witness that your Creator guided you as
    He guided us!
    4. Don’t give money to houses of worship to distribute for you. Do it yourself! Give money
from you wallet immediately to needy people, whenever and wherever you see them. Don’t
lose that chance to do that good deed right then and there. Give out of what your Creator
gave to you. Satan will whisper to you that the person in front of you doesn’t qualify for
your charity or that you can give charity later. The next time may never come. Make it a
habit to give charity regularly. Help the needy people, don’t judge them. Your Creator is the
Judge over all that He created. Let your Creator handle the judging business and you try to
    qualify yourself for His Mercy!
Remember: There are only two entities in existence:
The Creator exists, and whatever He created exists.
    Nothing else exist!
If you are not praying to the Creator, you are praying to a false god. It’s that simple.
Praying to a false god means you are going to Hell forever!
Use your commonsense! Think this over carefully and save yourself and your family from
Hell! Save your spouses, your children, your parents, your relatives, your friends and your
preachers and teachers. Try to save everyone! That’s what we are trying to do! The worst
thing anyone can do is pray to a false god! Only your Creator is God! All others are false
    gods!
As a fetus in the womb, your Creator implanted a soul in you at that time. When you came
out into this world, you got a body as to work with for a certain amount of years. The
Creator gave you commonsense to figure things out and make decisions. He gave you a
soul to benefit from your good decisions and to suffer the consequences of your bad
decisions. When the body dies, your soul will stand before the Creator to be rewarded or
    punished.
Your Creator is Just! Even the people who prayed to false gods get rewards for their good
deeds, but they get it right here in this world. In the next world, they get nothing. They will
follow their false gods (or symbols of their gods) straight into Hell forever!
  • Only those who worshipped their Creator would be left standing. These people have to
compensate those whom they had wronged by paying them with their good deeds. If they
run out of good deeds before they have paid everyone, the must take the bad deeds of the
one they had wronged until each issue is settled. No one gets away with injustice.
People would then be judged based upon the deeds they have left. If your good deeds
outweigh your bad deeds, the Creator promised to forgive you and through His Mercy, the
Creator will grant you Paradise. If your bad deeds outweigh your good deeds, the Creator
may still forgive you and through His Mercy, grant you Paradise, or He may send you to Hell
for as long as He wills. Then whenever He is ready, the Creator will forgive you and through
His Mercy, grant you Paradise. So do much good deeds, stay away from all bad deeds,
avoid hurting others, and constantly ask your Creator to guide you and all mankind. At the
very least, seek forgiveness of the Creator for all your sins before you die!
We don’t want anything from you and we have nothing to give you. We are not selling
anything and we are not propagating any religion Follow whatever religion your Creator
guides you to. Only your Creator can open your heart to see sense in whatever religion He
will choose for you to practice. We want you to pray to the real God and be safe. When
people pray to false gods, how would they receive guidance? Too many people are praying
to false gods! We are just trying to help!
Please send copies of this letter to co-workers, friends, neighbors, etc. Make hard copies
and distribute to everyone and mail it to people in other places. Ask people what they think
of this concept. Does it make sense? On the Day of Judgment, people of Hell will say:
“If we had listened or used our commonsense, we would not be in the fire!” So listen now
and take heed! Please take the trouble to send this letter to at least 10 people that you know.
Tell them to send it to 10 others that they know. Try to help people from ending up in the
fire! Your Creator will reward you!
Remember: We don’t want anything from you, and we don’t have anything to give you.
  • Please feel free to share
